Uniworld Boutique River Cruises proudly owns and operates a fleet of eleven intimate, boutique river cruise ships navigating the stunning European waterways, exclusively catering to English-speaking clients. To enhance our Nautical Team, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional for the role of 1st Captain.
Your Responsibilities
- Navigating the ship in accordance with company guidelines and safety regulations
- Ensuring the safety of all passengers and crew on board
- Maintaining our ships during the sailing season as well as in winter
- Professionally managing the Nautical Team
- Facilitating communication on board with the Hotel Manager and Cruise Manager
Your Profile
- Experience in a similar role on the Rhine-Main-Danube
- Familiarity with Z-Drive systems (not mandatory)
- A valid license for the Rhine up to Mainz and/or the Danube
- Innovative, flexible, proactive leader and team player
- Strong communication skills in German and/or English
- Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Eager to learn and grow in your role
