APOLLO MANAGEMENT ADVISORS SWITZERLAND SÀRL - May 23, 2026

Position Overview

As part of Apollo, ISGI serves as the dedicated investment office for large, strategic, and sophisticated insurance and pension clients. These clients are investing over €15 billion into “Return Seeking” (RS) assets managed by ISGI, which include a range of evolving private debt and equity-like investments originated and underwritten by Apollo. Our strategy focuses on a relative value-oriented approach aimed at consistent outperformance and capital preservation for insurance and pension funds within their respective regulatory frameworks.

The investments we make span various areas, including credit, real assets, and equity-like investments from diverse jurisdictions and markets across the globe. The ISGI RS team in Zurich leads this initiative, providing support for insurance clients in portfolio management, investment selection, analytics, reporting, and educational resources, while also assisting with Solvency II optimization. Our team constructs portfolios of private investments and helps clients navigate these investments with local regulators and boards. This Analyst role is designed to integrate into the team, focusing on the origination and management of private investments. We seek individuals committed to continually enhancing the economics, insights, and services we deliver through dedication, expertise, strong client relationships, and a collaborative approach.

  • Understand, prepare, and adjust investor reports and ad hoc responses for both internal management information and external client regulatory reporting.
  • Apply and develop analytics to track and project capital activity, returns, forecasting, capital consumption, drawdown risk, diversification, and other metrics for constructing private investment portfolios.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in investment functions within a large insurance company, insurance asset management company, investment bank specializing in insurance solutions, consulting firm focused on insurance regulation or law, or alternative asset management group.
  • Prior experience with alternative investments and private investments is essential.
  • Strong understanding of fixed income principles, capital markets, and private origination across asset-backed and corporate finance.
  • Familiarity with Solvency II regulation, including Standard Formula calculations for private assets, with a solid background in documenting investment decisions per these frameworks and an understanding of the Prudent Person Principle (PPP) requirements.
