The Development Economics Group (DEC) at ETH Zurich is dedicated to empirical economics research aimed at informing effective policies that can reduce global poverty and inequality. Our primary goal is to foster social innovations that tackle these challenges through rigorous empirical and experimental economic research.
The Development Economics Group (ETH-DEC) is currently seeking a research assistant in Development Economics. The starting date is September 1, 2026, and the position is for a duration of 6 months.
Our team consists of highly motivated economists and data scientists who are dedicated to analyzing global inequalities and contributing to solutions for global development. We closely collaborate with NADEL, a multidisciplinary team focused on educating future decision-makers regarding global cooperation and development, as well as ETH4D, an initiative that connects researchers with civil society, NGOs, governments, and the industry to foster innovations that benefit the global population.
